With the new full size Titan in the wings and Pathfinder Armada SUV close behind, the future looks bright. Great progress has been made this year with the now popular Murano, while the Xterra and venerable Pathfinder soldier on.

A replacement for the Pathfinder couldn't come along soon enough, with main rival Toyota having released its completely revised 4Runner to a willing public last year. The new model boasts V6 and V8 power, improved interior size and features, as well as a radical new style. By the looks of the new Dunehawk concept introduced at this year's Frankfurt motor show, the wait for a Pathfinder redo might not be far off at all. Rather than just maintain the 5-seat status quo perpetuated by the 4Runner, Nissan may up the Pathfinder's seating capacity to seven, if this latest concept in any indication.

The Dunehawk is also longer, wider and taller than the current Pathfinder, sitting at about 4.8 m in length, 1.9 mm in width and 2.0 m in height, compared to roughly 4.7 m long, 1.8 m wide and 1.7 m tall for the road going SUV.

The concept car is the result of the partnership between Microsoft and the Nissan Design America Inc. This is because the Urge concept can be used to play "Project Gotham Racing 3". This futuristic vehicle combines futuristic driving and realistic gaming. The Urge is a roadster which according to Nissan is motorcycle inspired. The Xbox 360 inspired concept vehicle is the Nissan Urge while the Adidas inspired one is named the Nissan Note.

While these vehicles may not be available to the public, it is evidence that Nissan can design and manufacture such advanced cars.
